ProDVX Displays with Flexopus: Smart room signage made easy
Use our digital signage solution in your meeting rooms, which supports 360-degree RGB LED and kiosk mode.
What is ProDVX integration?
ProDVX is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality Android displays, specifically designed for professional use in offices and conference rooms. With integration into Flexopus, ProDVX displays become intelligent meeting room door signs that display room information in real time.
The connection between ProDVX devices and Flexopus is established via the Flexopus Device Connect App, which is installed directly on the display. The ProMGR management software from ProDVX allows the devices to be centrally configured and remotely maintained. Additionally, Flexopus uses the ProDVX API to control the integrated RGB LED status lights of the displays. This makes the occupancy status of a room visible at a glance.
What is the purpose of integration?
The ProDVX integration makes the occupancy status of your meeting rooms immediately visible to all employees - directly on the display outside the door. Typical use cases include:
- Display of the current room occupancy status (free or occupied) via the RGB LED status light
- Display of upcoming bookings and meeting details directly on the screen
- Ad-hoc bookings directly via the display, without going through an app or browser.
- Kiosk mode for dedicated, distraction-free use as a room display
- Automatic scheduling of sleep and operating time
This eliminates cumbersome follow-up questions and spontaneous disruptions to ongoing meetings. Employees can see at a glance which rooms are available and book directly on the device.
How easy is the setup?
Setting up ProDVX displays with Flexopus is structured and well documented. Essentially, five steps are necessary: creating a configuration in ProMGR, creating a deployment profile, preparing the device, provisioning it, and then pairing it with Flexopus. The Flexopus Device Connect app is automatically transferred to the display via ProMGR.
ProMGR Cloud is available for remote management of multiple displays – this allows configurations to be centrally deployed to all devices without having to touch them individually.
